Aabha Muley Presents to the Angel Foundation

Last summer, one of our outstanding IT students, Aabha Muley, attended the Mark Cuban Artificial Intelligence bootcamp.  She was so motivated by the boot camp that she extended the learning this fall.  She used her project time in APCSP to continue working with a group of high school students from the summer bootcamp to develop a prototype of a Terms of Service application.  They were quite successful. Aabha described it best herself.

“I attended the Mark Cuban Foundation Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp over the summer where we learned about topics such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning. After attending this bootcamp, I was inspired to use what I had learned to design a solution using NLP for the current Terms of Service (ToS) for users since the ToS for apps/websites are lengthy and filled with jargon. I worked in a group of like-minded high school students and had the support of a technology leader from NASA JPL. Our team placed in the Top 3 and had the honor to present our prototype in front of the Mark Cuban and will.i.am’s i.am Angel Foundation!”

The IT department would like to congratulate Aabha on her innovation and success.  We can’t wait to see what else Aabha accomplishes during her time at IA.
