Good evening IA families,

I am wishing you all a dry weekend.

The weather has been crazy, but our students have been incredibly upbeat through the dark and gloomy days.

I wanted to bring you up to speed on the ongoing construction. As is often the case with construction, the work that is being done to ensure the long-term health of our building is taking a bit longer than expected. The weather and other unforeseeable developments has pushed the end to the major construction back to the end of January. While there will still be some minor work that will continue into next semester, including removing equipment, cleaning the building, and minor repairs, our construction journey will be coming to a close. I appreciate your support and understanding as we have worked through this painful, but necessary process.

Tonight, we open our first play with our drama club. I’m excited to see them opening night. If you can, come and see them tomorrow at 3 or 7.

Ask your students about their PSAT Scores. These go directly to your students, so they should be able to share their scores. We are still parsing the data, but I’ll share out the results next week. Spoiler alert: our kids’ scores are awesome!

Finally, please take a minute to complete the survey from our SGC. They are compiling information from parents to help us guide our mission going forward. The survey closes soon, so please check it out if you can! https://forms.office.com/r/3TaKET9U1q

Have a great weekend!
