As the semester ends, a few quick notes. All students should be working hard on their exams. iday 12/10 for exam reviews and to receive their new laptop.  Thanks to the PTSO for hosting a fun viewing of Elf. It was a great chance for students to socialize.  Jan. 24th, Feb. 28., and March 21st have been changed across the district from late start to early release days. Please mark your calendars. We’ll share our release time as soon as we get it, but it will be early in the afternoon.

If you haven’t heard, students can now play sports at their home school while attending IA starting in Jan. 2022.  While this is great news for some, keep in mind that students cannot be excused for athletic checkouts.  With this change, we will be looking at how we can possibly adjust the bell schedule and possibly the virtual classes for the Fall of 2022 to assist students in athletic participation.

I want to applaud the 150 students and 60 staff that participated in the Moonshot Expo that included service projects and Design Thinking sprints.  During finals our leadership team will be working on the Spring calendar which will include Winterfest, Springfest, fieldtrips, Moonshots and other surprises – I can’t wait to unveil the activities that will continue to enhance the IA experience.
