Sophomore Joaquin Friedman is an engineering student, who is interested in building things. The project he is most proud of is the arena, which he helped build alongside leading the pit design team in robotics. The arena is where the participants in the robotics club practice until they are ready. The pit is the area where the robot is set up, and repaired, along with being their cover of operations. Despite having considered healthcare as a potential pathway, he chose instead, to go into the engineering pathway so that he could discover his interests more. He enjoys building things, and thought that engineering would be a fun and interesting field of choice where he could work collaborate with others.
