End of Course ( Milestones) testing will be the week of April 24-28th. All 9th grade and 11th grade students will need to have an FCS issued laptop on order to take the tests. This is an issue that must be addressed immediately. If your student does not have an FCS issued device, they must check one out of the Media Center as soon as possible. In addition, all students must restart their laptops daily in order to obtain all possible updates from the platform. If they do not have a school device on the day of testing, there is a possibility that they could miss the testing and that would create issues. This test counts as 20% of the students grade in that class and is very important that all students take these assessments.
The district has a very limited number of loaners devices, and they are slated for students who have an FCS device and that device fails during testing. Juniors will be taking the EOC Milestones assessment (American Literature and US History) on April 24, 25th and 26th, and Freshman will be taking their Biology and Algebra on April 27th and 28th.
We will be doing a device check again on April 12th, and at that time ALL students must have an FCS issued device. Please get this taken care of as soon as possible.
