Well, we are wrapping up the final few days at IA for our second year. Talk to your students to see if they need to come in next week for recovery with a teacher.
I’m sitting in my office after wrapping up our second annual showcase. I am grinning ear to ear. If there is any programming that confirms we are moving in the right direction, Innovate, our student project showcase, is it. I am so proud of the work our students have done. I am proud of their willingness to take chances, work through problems, and challenge themselves to go beyond their academic goals. These are students who have pushed through their fears and engaged their passions.
Instead of spending time reading my message, I would encourage you to look on social media and elsewhere in the Beacon to see all of the amazing projects our students presented.
As I sign off for a few weeks, I want to thank you all for the trust you have placed in me and our incredible staff. Entrusting us to help prepare your children for the dynamic world they will soon enter is both an honor and a responsibility we do not take lightly. We will use the summer to fine-tune our programming for next year. I appreciate your patience as we have worked through the growing pains every new school faces. I am lucky to work with you all.
Please make sure your students have some time to decompress and enjoy themselves this summer.
