This past Saturday 4/22, IA had several students participate in the Georgia Tech Math Day/Competition: Alexander Mavalyants, Audrey Sun, Chloe Sun, Christopher Lee, Cyrus Zhou, Dhruv Vaz, Meredith Clopper, Rikhil Sai Duvvuri, Shiv Garg, Siddarth Suresh, and Zinnun Malikov. This was full day of math including traditional math and logic-based competitions, individual and group competitions, math chats with GT Math undergrads and graduate students, and a guest speaker.
We had several students win awards:

- Chloe Sun (18th)
- Siddarth Suresh (20th)
- Logic Exam
- Meredith Clopper (7th)
- Cyrus was also recognized for having a particular nice and unique solution for one of his problems.
This weekend, the varsity team (Cyrus, Dhruv, Siddarth, and Zinnun) travels to Macon to compete in the GCTM STATE FINALS! Let’s wish them luck! Thank you Mr. Brown and Mr. Pomerance for their sponsorship of the Math Team!
