The National Honor Society (NHS) chapter at Innovation Academy is proud to announce the newly elected officers for the upcoming academic year. These dedicated students have been chosen to lead the chapter based on their exemplary academic achievements, leadership skills, and commitment to community service.

The newly elected officers are as follows:

President: Adya Srinivasan

Vice-President: Janice Kim

Treasurer: Samreen Bhatia

Secretary: Vichae Han

Historian: Jin Han

These students have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and a strong dedication to serving their community. They will be responsible for leading the NHS chapter in various initiatives aimed at making a positive impact on the school and local community.

As part of their commitment to community service, the newly elected officers have already outlined a series of service projects for the 2024-2025 school year. These projects include:

IA Shine Box: Providing support to homeless individuals by distributing care packages containing essential items and resources.

Operation Help a Hero: Assisting military families by organizing events and initiatives aimed at providing them with support and resources.

Fairy Godmother Project: Collecting and donating homecoming and prom dresses to individuals in need, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to participate in these memorable events.

Share the Sound: Bringing the joy of music to elementary students through workshops, performances, and instrument donations.

Letters Against Isolation: Combatting loneliness among seniors in the area by writing heartfelt letters and cards to brighten their day and let them know they are not forgotten.

These service projects reflect the commitment of the NHS chapter to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others and embody the organization’s core values of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
