Prisha Shah is a junior in the Healthcare pathway and a clerk for the Fulton County Youth Commission (FCYC). As a member, Prisha and her team help advise Fulton County commissioners regarding student issues so they can better enforce more informed policies. Specifically, Prisha is a member of the health committee and is currently working on a project called “NEO tours” which aims to reduce drug usage in students in Fulton County and she is working closely with politicians to see the project go into effect. Programs like these with real and tangible impact is the primary reason Prisha decided to be a part of the FCYC, since she felt her other clubs lacked the impact that she wanted to have on her community.

For the future, Prisha and her team want to expand in both size and reach. Size by growing their teams and reach by growing their social media presence so that more students can feel heard in the policy making process.
