The National French Contest/Le Grand Concours is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students of French in grades 1-12, in all 50 states and abroad, take a written test and compete against students with similar educational background for prizes.

Please join me in congratulating our IA students of French who participated in Le Grand Concours and did such a wonderful in representing us in Georgia and The United States.

There were 10,764 students nationwide who participated in the Level 2 exam. Aleksandra Greyenbuhl ranked 3rd in the USA and 1st in GA earning a Gold medal. Sam Vander Velde ranked 8th in the USA and 2nd in GA earning a Silver medal.

Abhiram Manoj ranked 13th in the USA and 5th in GA earning a Bronze medal. Shreya Singh and Srishti Agrawal earned a “Certificat d’honneur.” Neilanjan Matkar, Elizabeth Navin, Akshaj Dewan, earned a “Certificat de Mérite.” 

There were 8,951 students nationwide who participated in the Level 3 exam. Romina Azarm ranked 6th in the USA and 5th in GA earning a Silver medal. Alanis Martinez ranked 8th in the USA and 7th in GA earning a Silver medal. Atiira FaSenntao and 

Reema Mistry earned a “Certificat d’honneur” while Samara Goyal, Alexander Novokshonov, Nithin Kumar, and Robert Mosley-Day earned a “Certificat de Mérite.”
