Dear IA Community,

As we embrace the vibrant spirit of spring, IA students had many opportunities to blossom this week:

The IA Fencing Team was in New York City to attend the Women’s College National Championship Tournament meeting with fencers and university coaches. Students also experienced a curated tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the theme of innovation through history. From ancient artifacts to contemporary masterpieces, they gained insights into the evolution of human creativity and ingenuity, drawing parallels between art and the precision of fencing and the artistry of innovation.

Pathway clubs are in full swing:

  • Good luck to our Robotics team this weekend as they make their way to Dalton, GA to compete with Chuck the robot!
  • HOSA had their State Leadership Conference in Atlanta last weekend. Make sure you read our post about how successful we were: 13 Students placed in the top 3 and will move on to the International Leadership Conference, and 59 IA Students placed in the top 10!
  • TSA is gearing up for the State Leadership Conference next weekend in Athens, GA. Watch for our amazing students!

I want to thank the sponsors and chaperones who dedicate so much of their time to supporting our students in their passion and making their participation to these competitions possible. Thank you!

I am delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students and their unique talents, interests, and dreams waiting to be nurtured and realized. As we ‘spring forward’ this weekend, let’s continue to focus on renewal, growth, and transformation with vigor and optimism. I encourage our community to continue to cultivate a mindset of curiosity and innovation and wish everyone an inspiring spring season!
