Mr. Jones is a Physics and IA Research teacher here at IA. This is his first year at IA and teaching high school students in general. He has, so far, taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade at Hopewell Middle School. He is a very hands-on teacher, who prefers for students to problem-solve and find answers to various questions on their own, and not rely on the teacher for the answers. He also prides himself on being flexible with his lesson plans and being able to “go with the flow” and match his plans to how the students learn. One very interesting thing about Mr. Jones is that he has participated in a competition with some of his middle school students where they have done experiments to be done in space and have had these experiments win. He very much looks forward to his very first year with the students of IA!
