Course Updates

The Health Science pathway offers 6 courses for grades 9-12. These courses will be focusing on the topics below the first part of the fall semester. If you have expertise in one of these fields and can provide unique opportunities to enrich a course, feel free to reach out to the appropriate teachers.

GT Block

HOSA Update

  • HOSA SLC Conference: Mrs. Holmes and Ms Zahirsky accompanied our students to the HOSA ILC (International Leadership Conference) this June in Texas.  As Ms. Holmes put it, “We left Georgia with top 10 contenders in Georgia and we returned with top 10 contenders on the planet.” Congratulations to our HOSA leaders and their teacher sponsors!

Event

  • Healthcare information night: Tuesday 8/29/23 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Auditorium. Pathway updates and information. 
  • 2024 Spring event: We will be hosting our first annual “Save-a-Life” event on Friday, March 22nd, 2017.  Activities will include but are not limited to: Mass Casualty Disaster Drill on campus, Red Cross Blood Drive, CPR and AED training, Emergency Medicine boot camp, Fire and Rescue Drills.  We are looking for community sponsors and volunteers to help make this an incredible event.
