Over Spring Break, IA students in Multicultural Literature volunteered with New American Pathways in helping the organization set up apartments for refugee families new to America. Students put together living rooms, kitchens, and furniture at five different locations in Clarkston as part of their class project for the novel THE KITE RUNNER and to make our newest neighbors feel at home.
