Counselor’s Update – 03-25-2022 Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment

The deadline for completing the Fulton County Contract for Dual Enrollment is March 31st. Students interested in participating in dual enrollment for the Fall 2022 semester should log into Naviance through Classlink and complete the required Dual Enrollment tasks.

Thank you to Georgia State for walking our students through the dual enrollment application process March 21st.  Our students asked some really great questions and were able to get valuable information on the application process for dual enrollment students at Georgia State University.

Please join us Monday, March 28th to meet with Ms. Howell from Gwinnett Technical College.  She will do a brief presentation for our students interested in pursing dual enrollment at Gwinnett Tech and answer their questions.  https://tinyurl.com/yc2c6rh4

Summer School registration

Students taking summer courses through Fulton Virtual school should register for their courses https://fulton.geniussis.com/PublicWelcome.aspx.  We do not encourage students to accelerate their foundational courses in the summer.  Students should be aware that a year long course during the summer moves very quickly.

Georgia Virtual School registration open is now open for summer school courses. All students who are interested in taking a GAVS course over the summer may now enroll in courses (self pay) pending counselor approval.

If you are currently taking Japanese, ASL, or want to take a class only offered at GAVS, please mark your calendar for March 30, when the Fall 2023 semester opens. Please register for Both Fall/Spring The classes fill very fast, so it is important to register quickly. For more information, go to www.gavirtualschool.org
