Jordan Mackey is a ninth grader and part of the engineering pathway. He hopes to become an architect one day and chose to come to IA to develop that skill.
“I hope to learn skills and software programs that will refine my future career goals.” When not at school, Mackey plays basketball and skateboards to unwind.
“The expectations are very high here. I balance my free time by trying to get my work done and make time to have fun.” He also enjoys making people laugh. His sense of humor is obvious to all those who know him. He attributes this to his philosophy on life.
“Don’t worry about the past because time keeps ticking. Try to find something new to do everyday that makes you happy.”
