The STEP Program is an educational outreach program designed to provide hands-on engineering internships to high school students. STEP is an immersion program for engineering. Students work in teams on a challenge problem that is inspired by an active Georgia Tech research effort. The students work with a Georgia Tech faculty mentor to solve their challenge problem. At the end of the program, students present the results of their work to parents, teachers, faculty, and industry representatives at a poster session.

Participants must be at least 16 years old by the start of the program to apply. Space is limited.

To be considered for the 2023 GTAE STEP cohort, you will need to complete the application before the 19 March 2023 deadline.
