October marks the commencement of our RISE program, and we’re excited to share more about this initiative. But first, what is RISE? RISE is a program designed to acknowledge and reward positive behaviors within our school community. The acronym “RISE” itself represents the core values that define the IA Way and the exemplary IA Student: Respect, Integrity, Self-Motivation, and Empathy.
Throughout the month, our dedicated teachers and staff will be recognizing and rewarding students who exemplify the RISE qualities by handing out STARBUCKS. Each STARBUCK represents a chance for students to participate in a monthly drawing, where they can receive well-deserved recognition for their positive behavior.
But that’s not all. We’re thrilled to introduce the RISE student group, a vital component of our program that operates throughout the entire year. This group comprises students who serve as role models for their peers by consistently demonstrating the RISE values. These students are nominated by our teachers, and they will have the honor of being inducted into the group during a special ceremony in January.
The RISE program is not just about rewarding individual actions; it’s about fostering a positive school environment that reflects the values we hold dear at IA. It encourages everyone in our community to strive for Respect, Integrity, Self-Motivation, and Empathy as we work together to make our school an even better place for all.
