| Summer School Information Summer school registration is now open. Students taking summer school courses to recover credits can start the registration process March 1, 2024. We do not encourage students to take classes to accelerate during the summer. We encourage students to spend the time pursuing their individual interests, working, or simply relaxing and recharging. Students can pick up the yellow summer school form outside of the counseling office. Completed forms should be timestamped and inserted in your counselor’s box by MARCH 14th to allow counselors time to approve summer school courses. Courses will only be approved once the form has been submitted for approval. Fulton Virtual School (FVS) 1. Students may retake up to two semester-long course credits during Fulton Virtual summer learning at no cost. 2. Courses taken for acceleration will require tuition, students are limited to one full credit in the summer. 3. Students will register by using VECTOR in Infinite Campus. Registration will open on March 1 and close on May 31, 2024. 4. Summer course offerings: FVS Course Catalog 5. Tuition Schedule: a. High school A or B course: $225 tuition ($180 with free/reduced meal status) per course b. High school AB course: $450 tuition Georgia Virtual School (GAVS) 1. Summer 2024 registration opens on Friday, March 1 at 12:00 EST. 2. Summer 2024 course offerings: GAVS Course Catalog 3. Due to the condensed timeframe of the summer term, Georgia Virtual School limits student enrollments to four half units per student. Each half unit requires an average of four hours of work per day, so taking four half units will average 16 hours of coursework per day. 4. Students may take two full units (AB) or four half units (A or B) or any combination, but no student may exceed four half units during the summer term.
